This painting began as a landscape study with a dear friend, which was my way of getting help creating an underpainting. Eventually I decided to put this handy kitchen gadget into the mix to ad to my appliance series. Bright colors and horizontal drips ad to the charm of this piece, not to mention the influence of a wonderful friend.
